Bursaries are available from the BVMA covering half the cost of the course. These will be prioritised to help people in the early stage of their career (within the first 8 years from the start of their training) and are available to those paying the full cost of the course themselves. They are not intended for those whose employers are funding them.

Please send an email to bvmacourses@gmail.com with 500 words outlining your experience, why you would like to attend and what you hope to get out of the course; including 3-6 pictures of your work.

Students of violin making schools can apply for a bursary from the RAB Trust, covering the full course fee. You can do so by filling in their application form by 28th February 2026. https://rabtrust.org/awards-applications/
